Dr.
Christopher Garruba graduated from the University
of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania
in 1987.
Dr.
Garruba
also received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University
of Delaware, Newark, Delaware
in 1978 (Animal Science Major, Biology
Minor).
Dr.
Garruba's
main area of concentration is Small Animal practice. He currently owns and
manages the Nassau
Animal Hospital that
he founded in January 2001.
Dr. Christopher N. Garruba was born and raised in
Lawrenceville, NJ. He was educated through the Lawrence public school system and worked during his teen years at
Weber's Kennel and Lawrence Animal Hospital. He went on to major in animal science and biology at the University
of Delaware with veterinary medicine as his career goal.
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987, he worked as an
associate veterinarian at the Lawrence Hospital for Animals for over 13 years. In January of 2001, he founded the
Nassau Animal Hospital in Princeton, New Jersey. Dr. Garruba continues to reside in Lawrenceville with his 15
year old Fox Terrier, Ben, and 2 year old orange tabby cat named Oscar. When not at the animal hospital or helping
one of the local animal rescue groups, he may be found singing in the choir at St. Ann's Church. |
